Grab your poodle skirts and slick back your hair and “Let’s Go To
The Hop!” The Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce is hosting THE BIG
DEAL on May 2, 2008, a fifties Sock Hop where you can “Rock
Around the Clock”. “Only You” have chance to donate an item for
the live or silent auction. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will
go towards scholarships for Los Gatos High School students
planning to study business in college. Scholarships will be contributed
through the new Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce Charitable
Foundation, tax i.d. # 26-1437553.

The 2008 Big Deal will be a blast! Your $75 ticket price includes
dinner, dancing, all drinks (yes, ALL drinks – beer, wine and well.),
and some hilarious contests. Only 200 tickets will be sold, so plan
to purchase your ticket early because we don’t want you to be
crooning “Ain’t That A Shame” when the event is sold out and you
don’t have a ticket.

Our committee will be putting together themed auction packages
and “Chances Are” every donation will help. Merchandise, gift
certificates, and services all make great additions. If “You Send
Me” a request, we will be happy to make arrangements to pick up
your contributions.

By donating to the auction you will be promoting your business with
great exposure to the local community and beyond. Promotional
opportunities will depend on the size of your donation or
sponsorship. Your business could be prominently featured on the
Big Deal website, the Chamber’s website, newsletters, banners,
posters, press releases, programs, and more. Remember “Memories
